I was on Twitter for the first time in a long time yesterday. I have had so much going on lately that I have not been able to even think about anything nudist related. Well, except the fact I am nude more often than not now, and working from home helps that. Things have quieted down a bit, so I have had the opportunity to catch up on emails and see the gazillion Twitter alerts. For those of you who have reached out to me I really appreciate it. It’s comforting to know I have a support system in all of you, and you generally seem interested and care. Thank you. Ugh, I digress. Let’s get back to the post at hand. Oh wait, my coffee is done brewing and I definitely need a cup this morning.

Alright, now I have my coffee in hand and I am ready to write a bit. While I was on Twitter yesterday I came across someone who had retweeted a Matthew McDermott tweet from someone I had never seen before. Curious about this lady I checked her out and followed along to her website. Needless to say, I was quite pleased to see another woman enter the blog realm, and one who is promoting nudism through herself. I haven’t spoken to her personally, but she has utilized nudism to overcome a drug addiction from her early adulthood. Truly a heroic story and one worthy of great praise. Congratulations Brittany. We are behind you and support you. One of the great things she does is offering free nudist dance workouts, and she has started steaming live on her website each Tuesday and Thursday at 8:00 PM EST. I watched her stream last night and partook in her amazing dance workouts. They were fun, entertaining, and difficult!. Those dance moves literally kicked my ass and I was in dire need of a shower. Whew. Not only is she a nudist, but she is a southerner like me!! You need to go check her out at Nudist Fitness Dance.

While I was watching her stream, she made a comment about a post she made regarding a survey she and her team (assuming husband et. al.) put together. While I did not partake in the survey, I do want to offer my answers here and show my support for Brittany and her venture with her husband. I encourage you to go follow her blog/website too. She’s just starting out and she is worthy of our respect and support. GO! NOW!! Well, finish reading here first. πŸ™‚ Below are the questions from her blog she asked

  • Are you currently working from home for your employment?
  • Having the ability to work from home, are you finding yourself working more in the nude?
  • Prior to working from home, did you work from home in the nude?
  • Is there anything that you would like to add as to why you find yourself working in the nude or other times while not working?

My Nudism is on the Rise

Are you currently working from home for your employment?

I have been so blessed to be able to work from home during the COVID pandemic. Thankfully, I have a job that allows me to do everything remotely, and my employer is in no hurry to get anyone back to the office. We are repeatedly told that we get more work done at home than in the office. Everyone I talk to is much happier working from home, and what few meetings I have with video I have discovered everyone is dressed extremely comfortable. Unless I have to I don’t turn my camera on because that requires fixing my hair and actually putting some form of clothes on. I just use the excuse “you don’t want to see this right now”. πŸ™‚

Having the ability to work from home, are you finding yourself working more in the nude?

Prior to the COVID apocalypse I didn’t really work from home that often, but when I did work from home I was pretty much naked as often as I could be. Most of you know by now that I have been married to someone who does not approve of the nudist lifestyle, but after our separation six months ago I have dove headfirst into the clothes free life. The only time I put clothes on is if I am expecting someone or if I need to leave the house. I’ve been close to being caught a few times with someone knocking at the door when I walk by. I turn into a ninja to make sure I’m not seen. I’m not ashamed of myself but I don’t want any awkwardness should a teenage neighbor decide to come and see if the girls are home. I need to put something over the door to cover the windows. πŸ™‚

Prior to working from home, did you work from home in the nude?

Short answer is sometimes. Depends on the day and if anyone was home. I despise anyone who shames another person for wanting to be naked in their own home. It’s none of their business and the more I am naked the more I don’t want anyone telling me I can’t go naked. I would generally go naked as much as I could whenever I was home and didn’t feel like I would be shamed for it, or told to “put clothes on because it is distracting”.

Is there anything that you would like to add as to why you find yourself working in the nude or other times while not working?

This question will have a bit longer of an answer since it is so broad in nature. Working in the nude is just easier for me. I’m already sleeping naked and when I wake up I put my contacts in, brush my teeth, brush my hair, and put on my slippers. Hey, when my feet get cold my whole body is cold. I walk downstairs, turn my computer on, and then make the few steps to the kitchen to start my coffee and grab a banana. I have a nice memory foam BeautyRest leather chair in my office, and to keep from wearing clothes I have covered it with a soft blanket so I don’t stick to the leather. πŸ™‚ One less thing to worry about. I am more comfortable being naked each day and I find that life is so much easier when I don’t have to pick out an outfit to wear, my laundry is down to one load a week, and I generally feel better about myself. I clean naked, cook naked, watch TV naked, and on the rare occasion I fire up the PlayStation I will game naked. Everything I do within the confines of my home and property (when permitted) I am naked. This may seem a bit rude to some of you, but I am getting to the point that I get put out when I have to actually put on clothes. I feel like people are inconveniencing me. I know that sounds a bit selfish, and it really is, but I’ve lived my whole life feeling like I can’t be who I truly am, and now that I have that chance I don’t want anyone to take that away from me. Even for a few minutes of inconvenience. I think deep down I’m worried something will happen that won’t allow me to continue live as a nudist. I should probably go live at at nudist community to avoid that.

How About You?

Where are you on your COVID nudist journey? Are you one who has benefited from the COVID pandemic like me? Do you work from home in the nude? Do you find yourself spending more time naked because you are at home more? If given the option will you continue to work from home just so you can be naked more often? So many of you have shared your story with me and you have been able to jump into the nudist lifestyle during the pandemic. I think most of you reading this have either spent more time naked, or you have allowed yourself to be freed from the textile world due to the work from home status. Let me know where you are in your nudist journey, and be sure to check out Brittany’s blog to see the full results of her survey.

Embrace your nakedness and free your soul.
